ATTENTION VICTORIAN HOME FANS

One of the things people love most is the San Francisco Victorian houses scattered throughout the city.

DID YOU KNOW that although Victorian homes might look more or less the same there are three main styles of Victorian architecture that you’ll find in San Francisco:

Italianate:

These Victorians have flat fronts and slanted bay windows. They aren’t quite as eccentric as some of the other styles.

Eastlake:

These Victorians feature more of a half-timbered look than the other styles and have detailed woodworking and squared bay windows.

Queen Anne:

you’ll no one when you see one because they’re the most decorated Victorians of all. They have that extra pizzazz to put them over the top.
